Privacy & GDPR

How we handle your personal data.

In plain language, in line with the European GDPR.

Who is responsible for your data

People Matter(s) BV, Vismarkt 11, 3000 Leuven, Belgium (VAT BE 0883.971.589) is the controller for the processing of personal data described on this page. For any question about your data, contact Liesbeth van Traa at liesbeth@people-matters.be.

What data we collect and why

This website does not require an account and does not ask you to fill in forms. When you contact us by email or phone, we process the details you share with us: your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message. We use this data only to answer your request and to prepare the conversations and services you ask for. The legal basis is your consent when you reach out to us, and our legitimate interest in answering your questions.

Coaching and advisory files

During a coaching or advisory engagement, we keep working notes and preparation documents about the sessions. These are treated as confidential and are only used to provide the service. We never sell your data and never share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep your data

We keep contact data as long as needed to answer your request and to maintain the working relationship. Coaching and advisory files are kept no longer than necessary for the service and for any legal or professional obligations that apply to us.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to limit or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email liesbeth@people-matters.be. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données).

Cookies

This website uses only the technical means necessary to display and secure the pages themselves. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes, you will be asked for consent before any optional cookie is placed.
